LAL Dues

Please note that no person will be removed from the LAL list if elects not to contribute.

On 25Nov98 I proposed a $3/year dues for the website, and received an overwhelming support for the proposal.
I wrote:

Even though I have spent countless hours for this service, I do it because Link and its people was and is a very special part of my life. With the new service, there is some cost which I think all of us could contribute. Therefore, I propose a fee of $3.00/year per registered person in order for me to cover some of the costs.
I'm proposing this to start with the new year therefore each contribution will cover the entire 1999 year.
Please let me know what you think.

Your response to my proposal was overwhelmingly in favor of the $3/year dues. Even if all members participate, still the contributions will not even be close to cover the ammount of time, effort, and expenses I have put in, and I'm puting for this site for over 4 years now. It took me a while to convince myself that I had to send the e-mail suggesting a contribution for the LAL website.
